What this policy covers

This policy explains how the English with Tatiana website handles information submitted through the enquiry form, private lesson invitations, essential cookies, optional analytics, and the one-to-one LiveKit Cloud classroom.

Information you provide

The enquiry form may collect a name, telephone or WhatsApp contact, email address, school grade or age, and a short description of the learning goal. A parent or legal guardian should submit information for a child where this is required.

Private lesson invitations

Tatiana can create a time-limited invitation containing a lesson code, a random room identifier, the scheduled time, an optional student name, the lesson language, and an expiry time. Invitation records are stored outside the public website directory and are normally removed within 30 days after expiry. The long secret contained in the invitation link is exchanged for an essential secure session and then removed from the address bar.

LiveKit Cloud and end-to-end encryption

The classroom uses LiveKit Cloud to transport browser-based WebRTC connections. Before joining, this website creates a unique encryption key for the lesson and gives it only to the authorised teacher and student through their protected classroom sessions. LiveKit E2EE protects published audio, video, screen sharing, and classroom data messages so the media service does not receive their readable content. LiveKit signalling, API calls, connection metadata, and operational logs are protected in transit with TLS but are not end-to-end encrypted.

Recording and classroom messages

This website does not request LiveKit recording, streaming, transcription, or egress services and does not store classroom chat messages. Participants should still avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive information. The LiveKit Cloud account owner must separately review project settings, billing, regions, retention options, and the provider terms applicable to the account.

How information is used

Information is used to answer enquiries, arrange lessons, give authorised participants access to one specific classroom, prevent abuse, close revoked rooms, and maintain the service. It is not sold and is not used for unrelated advertising.

Cookies and optional analytics

An essential session cookie protects forms, the teacher panel, invitation exchange, and classroom access. Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica are loaded only after a visitor actively accepts analytics and only when the website owner has configured approved properties. Essential-only access remains available when analytics is declined. The consent choice is stored in the browser.

Yandex Business reviews widget

The homepage contains an official embedded Yandex reviews widget connected to Tatiana’s public Yandex Business profile. It loads when the reviews section approaches the visible screen or when the visitor presses the refresh button. The embedded service may receive the visitor’s IP address, browser information, referrer, time, and other technical data required to display the widget under Yandex’s own terms. The website does not scrape, rewrite, or store the Yandex reviews. Visitors can avoid loading the widget by not scrolling to that section and can open the external Yandex profile directly instead.

Email, hosting, LiveKit, and technical logs

Enquiries are sent to Tatiana by email through the Plesk hosting environment. The hosting provider, email provider, and LiveKit Cloud may process account, connection, IP, device, timing, quality, security, and error data needed to operate their services. The website security logs may also contain an IP address, browser information, request time, and error details.

Security and retention

The supplied website uses HTTPS, private server-side secrets, access controls, CSRF protection, request limits, short-lived room-specific access tokens, a maximum of two classroom participants, random room identifiers, immediate room closure, local SDK integrity checks, and restrictive security headers. Information should be retained only for as long as needed for teaching, support, security, legal obligations, or legitimate record-keeping.

Your choices

You may ask Tatiana to review, correct, or delete information connected with your enquiry, subject to applicable legal requirements. Optional analytics can be declined through the consent notice. Clearing this site’s browser storage will reset the saved analytics choice.
